Speigelberg, a technology industry veteran, was most recently CEO of the Munich-based AI-powered digital identity company IDNow.Made.com has appointed the former Global Customer Development Director of Asos, Nicola Thompson, to the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer.
Spanish mobile marketplace Wallapop has hired Pedro Thormodsen as its new Chief Product Officer. Previosly Thormodsen spent two years working for eBay where he headed product and technology teams for Gumtree U.K., Marktplaats and 2deHands.be.
Members-only travel and experience company Secret Escapes Group has appointed Andy Botha as Chief Financial Officer. Andy joins from ZPG, where he was group CFO for three years.
Adrian Carr has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer role at MarkLogic. He previously served as SVP Worldwide Sales at MarkLogic.
Digital money transfer company WorldRemit has appointed technology industry executive Sophie Krishnan as Chief Operating Officer. Sophie has held senior management roles at consumer-facing companies like Expedia and Trainline, where she led product, marketing and commercial teams.
Online beauty retailer Feelunique has appointed Sarah Miles as its new Chief Executive Officer. Miles has joined the business from Amazon where she has been working for the last five years.
Matchesfashion has appointed former Amazon Vice-President Ajay Kavan as its new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he held several director-level roles at Homebase, B&Q and Littlewoods Home Shopping Group.
Market intelligence company GFK has appointed Kriti Sharma as VP Product. Kriti previously served as VP Artificial Intelligence at Sage.
Zoopla has hired David Wascha as its Chief Product and Technology Officer. David is the former CPO at PhotoBox.
Criteo has appointed Megan Clarken as Chief Executive Officer. Megan spent fifteen years in various positions at Nielsen and was recently Chief Commercial Officer of Nielsen Global Media.
Spotahome has appointed Alan Burns as its Chief Financial Officer. Burns previously served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Photobox Group.
Letgo – app that lets you buy and sell locally, has hired Josh Crossick as the company’s first Chief Product Officer and Rahim Lakhani as its first Chief Financial Officer. Crossick joins Letgo after nearly a decade at Hotels.com, part of Expedia Group, where he was most recently Vice President of Global Product. Lakhani was most recently Chief Operating Officer and CFO at OfferPad, an online real estate platform.
Carlos Morgado has been appointed as VP Digital Technology at Lilium. Carlos joined Lilium after seven years with Just Eat as CTO.
Housfy has appointed Mikael Journo as its new COO. Mikael previously served as VP Marketing Strategy and Central Operations at King.
Quantexa has hired Lorraine Metcalf as its Chief People Officer. Lorraine is the former Chief Talent Officer at Zoopla.
Builder has appointed Siddhartha Ghosh as VP Intelligent Systems. Ghosh previously served at Glovo as VP Data and Advanced Analytics.
Cazoo has appointed Louis Badcock as Product Director. Louis is the former Director of Product Management at Simply Business.
Receipt Bank – digital bookkeeping platform, has hired Darryl Bowman as its Global Chief Marketing Officer. Darryl previously served as CMO at Funding Circle and Babylon Health.
Miniclip’s former CEO, Rob Small – who co-founded the studio 18 years ago – is moving onto a new role as President of Miniclip’s Board. The company has now appointed Jurgen Post as its new CEO. Prior Jurgen was European President of International Partnerships at Tencent and COO of Sega Europe.
Condeco has appointed Mike Pilcher as Chief Sales Officer. Mike is the former Chief Revenue Officer at Kimble Applications.
xSellco has appointed Alex Payne as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder and interim CEO Ray Nolan, who takes over as Non-Executive Chairman of the board of directors. Alex joins xSellco from his position as CEO of Big Bus Tours.
