Key Candidate Moves: Summer 2023

The last quarter has seen some significant candidate moves within the technology industry:

 

Software and Fintech

Software company Advanced has appointed Simon Walsh as its new CEO. Walsh was previously CEO of NTT Americas. Former CEO Gordon Wilson transitions to Chairman.

White label banking software provider Meniga has appointed Dheeraj Soni as their new CEO. Soni was previously COO of TPAY Mobile.

Adam Wheelwright joins online trading platform IG Group as CTO. Wheelwright was previously Chief Information Officer at UK Health Security Agency.

Hermione McKee becomes CFO at SumUp, a payment solution provider for SMEs. Anna Kuriakose also becomes their new Chief Product Officer.

Tete Soto is promoted to become Chief Marketing Officer at Hg and TA Associates backed Access Group. Soto was previously CEO of Amigo Technology.

Pharmaceutical software provider Calyx has appointed David Herron as CEO. Herron was previously CEO of Bioclinica.

Benjamin Leaver joins digital sourcing platform Material Exchange as Chief Financial & Operations Officer. Leaver was CEO at Event Genius previously.

Louis Badcock is appointed as Chief Product Officer at payment solutions provider Runa. Badcock was previously Product Director at Cazoo.

Alan Cairns becomes Chief People Officer at GoCardless. Cairns was previously COO at iTech Media.

Stu Bailey is appointed as Chief Product Officer at Silverbird, a B2B payment platform for international trade. Bailey is the former Chief Product Officer at Currencycloud.

Kel Hartman becomes Chief People Officer at payment infrastructure provider Paytrix. Hartman was previously Chief People Officer at Chipper Cash.

MB Christie is appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Moneysupermarket. Christie was most recently Chief Product Officer for Simply Business.

 

Internet 

Tom Wallis joins Comparethemarket.com as Chief Revenue Officer. Wallis was Chief Marketing Officer at Gousto previously.

Devin Sinclair is appointed as COO at online flower gifting company Bloom & Wild. Sinclair previously worked as COO at Sproutl, marketplace for gardeners.

Vic Darvey joins online currency exchange platform provider Lumon as CEO. Darvey is a former CEO of Purplebricks.

Steve Dukes is promoted to CEO from COO at Confused.com, an online price comparison platform.

Kriti Sharma is appointed as a Non-Executive Director at property marketplace Rightmove. Sharma is currently Chief Product Officer, legal tech at Thomson Reuters.

Peter Donlon and Kate Erb are appointed as CTO and COO respectively at online peer to peer lending company Zopa. Donlon is a former Chief Product & Technology Officer at Moonpig and Erb was Director of Operations and Infrastructure at Leeds Building Society.

Kevin Cornils joins online luxury beauty buyers club Beauty Pie as CEO. Cornils is the former CEO of Glasses Direct.

Ching-Har Wong becomes Chief Digital Officer at Stella McCartney. Wong worked as Chief Digital & Customer Officer at Ganni previously.

Neil Borer joins online grocery site Milk & More as Chief Customer Officer. Borer previously worked for Radley, a London-based fashion brand as Chief Customer Officer.

Rachel Swidenbank joins Bark.com, a marketplace for freelancers, as Chief Commercial Officer. Swidenbank previously served as VP Sellers & Commercial at Depop.

Rachel Sheridan joins vintage furniture marketplace Vinterior as Chief Commercial Officer. Sheridan is a former Chief Commercial Officer at the online fashion business Thread.

Ian Harrison becomes Chief Marketing Officer at Online Home Shop, an online retailer of homeware products. Harrison served as Chief Digital Officer at The Fragrance Shop previously.

 

Games and Gambling

Dylan Jadeja becomes CEO of Riot Games. Jadeja has worked there for more than 12 years and had served as CFO and COO.

Stephen Fisk has been appointed as CEO of Microgaming. He was promoted from COO.

Kindred Group has appointed Patrick Kortman as their new CFO. He was previously their Director of Corporate Development.

EA has appointed Stuart Canfield as their new CFO. Canfield was most recently their SVP Enterprise Finance.

Robert Kingston joins Keyword Studios as CFO. Kingston worked for Flutter Entertainment as CFO of their UK&I division previously.

Christina Wootton is appointed to the role of Chief Partnership Officer at Roblox. Wootton joined Roblox in 2014 and most recently served as VP of Global Partnerships.

Online gambling firm Casumo has appointed Francesco Postiglione as CEO. He was most recently CEO of Hattrick-PSK.

Mikkel Weider resigns as CEO at games investor Nordisk Games. Allan Mathson Hansen is appointed as Interim CEO to replace him.

Annika Suni is appointed as CFO at Finnish mobile gaming company Fingersoft. Suni has held various CFO roles at companies such as Gutsy Animations.

Martin Walfisz is appointed as CEO of Thunderful Group. Walfisz is the former founder of Massive Entertainment.

Gili Brudno is appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Playtika. Brudno worked at Biocatch, behavioural biometrics software company.
