Autumn 2024 has seen a lot of interesting executive appointments within the software, internet and games industries;
Software
RLDatix, a global enterprise software company offering software and services to healthcare organizations, has appointed Dan Michelson as Chief Executive Officer. Michelson had been the CEO of Strata Decision Technology for more than 10 years. The company is backed by Nordic Capital and has grown 8% in headcount this year.
SoftwareOne, a software and cloud services provider, has appointed Raphael Erb as CEO. Erb was recently appointed as Chief Revenue Officer in June of this year. Based in Singapore, Erb has worked for SoftwareOne for almost 26 years.
NICE has appointed Barak Eilam as a new CEO. NICE is Israeli-based software company specialized in CRM software, AI and workforce management. Eilam has worked for NICE for more than 25 years.
European SaaS provider Cegid has appointed Bruno Vaffier as Chief Operating Officer. Vaffier has held roles such as Chief Financial Officer at companies like Worldline Global and Webhelp.
ERP software provider ECI Software Solutions has appointed Ray Wizbowski as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Wizbowski was the former Chief Marketing Officer at Diligent.
Server and database monitoring service provider Datadog has appointed Yanbing Li as its new Chief Product Officer. Li previously held the VP of Engineering and Product role at Google.
Communications API software provider Vonage has appointed Anthony Bartolo as its new Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Bartolo held the same role at Bandwidth.
Payment software provider Global Payments has appointed Robert Cortopassi as President and Chief Operating Officer. Cortopassi was previously the company’s Senior Executive Vice President, and President International and Vertical Markets.
London-based software provider for public sector Civica has appointed Paul Helms as Chief Customer Officer. Helms was the former Chief Customer Officer at Mercell and has held Senior VP roles in SAP and IFS.
Email signature software company Exclaimer has appointed Rob Singer as new CEO. Singer was the former CEO of Native Instruments and Chief Marketing Officer at Remitly. Backed by Insight Partners, Exclaimer has grown 15% in headcount this year.
British semiconductor company Arm has appointed Charlotte Eaton as Chief People Officer. Eaton worked for OVO as Chief People Officer for more than 4 years previously.
Omnichannel payment company DNA Payments has appointed Preete Janda as its new Chief Financial Officer. Janda has held finance leadership roles at companies like Paymentsense.
CluePoints has appointed Richard Young as Chief Strategy Officer. Backed by EQT, CluePoints provides risk-based quality management (RBQM) software for clinical trials. Young was the former Vice President, Clinical Data Strategy at Veeva Systems.
Switzerland-based banking software company Temenos has appointed Barb Morgan as Chief Product and Technology Officer. Morgan was the Group Head Product, Data & Analytics at LSEG most recently.
Online banking payment provider Trustly has appointed Adam D’arcy as its Chief Product Officer. D’arcy had held the same position at Prodigy Finance for three years. Trustly is backed by Nordic Capital and has grown 2% in headcount this year.
Payment infrastructure provider Primer has appointed Alex Mallet as its Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, Mallet was the EVP Engineering as Forto.
Adyen, a Dutch payment platform provider, has appointed Tom Adams as its Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, Adams was the Head of Engineering at Cash App.
Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software provider SER has appointed John David as Chief Revenue Officer. David was the former Senior Vice President of Sales at Flexera. David previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Flexera. Backed by TA Associates, SER expanded its workforce by 16% this year.
Zscaler, a cloud security software company, has appointed Adam Geller as its Chief Product Officer. Geller had held product leadership roles at companies like Palo Alto Neworks.
Open-source generative AI company Stability AI has appointed Hanno Basse as Chief Technology Officer. Basse has held various technology leader roles such as Chief Technology Officer at 20th Century Fox and Digital Domain.
Identity verification software provider ID.me has appointed Scott Meyer as Chief Technology Officer. Meyer has held senior roles at companies like Google and LinkedIn.

Truecaller, a Stockholm-based spam caller blocking app company, has appointed Rishit Jhunjhunwala as its new CEO. Jhunjhunwala has held product leadership roles within the company for the last 9 years.
Expedia has appointed Ramana Thumu as its new Chief Technology Officer. Thumu currently holds the role of Chief Technology & Product Officer at Fanatics.
British pre-paid card service provider Pockit has appointed ex-Mastercard CEO Gene Lockhart and ex-CEO of Vanquis Banking Group Malcolm Le May to its board. Pockit recently acquired a European fintech company Monese.

Parking management service provider ParkHub has appointed Angelique Temple as its new Global Chief Marketing Officer, following its recent merge with JustPark. Previously, Temple was the Chief Marketing Officer at WeTransfer.
FlatexDEGIRO, a company providing online trading platforms, has appointed Oliver Behrens as its new CEO. Behrens has held the position of Morgan Stanley Europe’s CEO for almost 10 years.

Swedish mobile gaming group Stillfront has appointed Alexis Bonte as its new CEO. Bonte has served for Stillfront since 2019, serving as COO and the President of Stillfront NA. Bonte founded eRepublik Labs in 2007, which was bought by Stillfront in 2017.
Racing game studio Hutch has appointed Oliver Bulloss as interim Co-CEO alongside Peter Hansen-Chambers, while the current Co-CEO Shaun Rutland transitions to Executive Chairman. Bulloss is Chief Product Officer of MTG, Hutch’s parent company. Additionally, Hutch has appointed TreesPlease Games’ co-founder Jamie Stowe as Creative Director.
Browser games distribution company FRVR has appointed Quentin Staes-Polet as its new CEO. Staes-Polet was Managing Director at Epic Games and VP Business Development at Improbable. FRVR has also hired Balaji Vijayan as VP of publishing from Sunday.
Asmodee, a French board game developer owned by Embracer Group, has appointed Thomas Kœgler as the new CEO. Kœgler was promoted from his previous role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

American gambling company Scientific Games has appointed Matt Lynch as its new President of Digital. Lynch previously held as eCommerce product roles at companies like Symantex. Additionally, Steve Beason has also been appointed as the company’s Chief Innovation Officer.
