A summary of some of the key candidate moves in the internet, software and games sectors in July 2021.
Software
Electronic invoicing firm Tungsten Network appointed a new CEO Paul Cooper. Paul is the former Regional Director at NTT.
Healthcare software business Dedalus hired Daniel Becker as Head of Engineering. Daniel is the former Senior Director of Engineering at Red Hat.
Automation company Idealworks hired a new CEO Michael Alexander Schneider. Michael previously served as Senior Manager Strategic Cooperations at BMW.
Operations platform Checkit promoted Kit Kyte to the role of CEO. Kit previously served as Chief Customer Officer at Checkit.
Access Intelligence – a technology innovator delivering SaaS solutions for the global marketing and communications industries, has appointed Katie Puris to its Board as Non-Executive Director. Puris is the Managing Director of Global Business Marketing for TikTok.
Innovation scale-up Wazoku has appointed Martin Fincham as its new Chairman. He also serves as Chairman at Veeqo, Scoro and BlackCurve.
RIB Software appointed René Wolf as Managing Director of the company. Rene is the former SVP Sales at Siemens.
IT service provider PSI Software appointed Gunnar Glöckner as the new CFO. For the past 25 years he worked for the international auditing company EY, and since 2006 as a Partner.
Digital Wholesale Solution appointed the former Addison Lee Group CEO Andy Bolland as its Chief Financial Officer.
Spectris – an expert in providing insight through precision measurement, announced that Ravi Gopinath has been appointed to its Board as a Non-executive Director. Ravi is Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Cloud Officer at AVEVA.
Software business Sedna Systems has appointed Eric Cullerier as Vice President of Customer Success and Jim Preston as Vice President of Global Sales. Eric is the former Vice President of Customer Success at Mimecast and Jim served as VP EMEA Sales at Showpad.
Internet and Fintech
Online travel business TripAdvisor hired Matteo Balzani as its new Senior Director, Marketing. Balzani is the former Lifecycle Marketing Lead, Alexa Shopping at Amazon.
Online pre-owned watch retailer Watchfinder hired Jeremy Corenbloom as its new CMO. Jeremy is the former Senior Director of Marketing at Amazon.
Investment firm British Patient Capital appointed George Mills as its Senior Investment Manager. George previously served as Non-Executive Director at Bramble Energy.
Moonbug Entertainment – company that creates and distributes fun and safe content for children, appointed Rob Miller as its new Chief Legal Officer. Rob is the former Chief Legal Officer at Skyscanner.
Carbonfact – a business that measures the carbon footprint of any product, was co-founded by Marc Laurent who is now also the CEO of the business. Marc is the Founding Partner of Kerala Ventures.
Digital wealth management company Moneyfarm hired Isabelle Pinson as its new Chief Commercial and Product Officer. Pinson is the former General Manager EMEA at Fresh.
Online business loans company MarketFinance appointed Kashyap Shah as its new Chief Product Officer. Shah previously served as CPO at Multiply.
Digital payments business WorldRemit hired Dana Massey as its new VP Product, Core Consumer. Dana is the former Senior Director, New Games at King.
Ecommerce fashion platform Miinto hired a new Deputy Chairman Peter Williams. Peter serves as Chairman at different businesses such as Domino’s, Bright Futures and Mister Spex.
Games
Online games company Scopely hired Denis Morozov as its Senior Director, Corporate Development. Denis previously served as Director, Corporate Development at Playrix.
Playtech appointed Brian Mattingley as Chairman. Brian is the former CEO of 888 Holdings.
Hubert Larenaudie, Voodoo president, joins Homa Games as a Strategic Advisor.
Ubisoft announced the appointment of Thomas Andrén as the new Managing Director of Massive Entertainment. Thomas will join from Red Bee Media, where he is currently Chief Operating Officer.
Simon Prytherch has been appointed as the new Head of Mobile Development at German free-to-play studio Gamigo. He previously spent one and a half years at the UK studio as its Head of Publishing.
Mobile games firm Seriously Digital Entertainment appointed Co-Founder Petri Järvilehto as its new CEO. Järvilehto previously served as Chief Creative Officer, having co-created the company in 2013.
The board of directors at Fingersoft – Finish video games developer, appointed Jaako Kylmäoja as its permanent CEO. Kylmäoja has been working at the firm since 2013 and has occupied several roles, notably Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Innovation Officer.
UK-based mobile games giant Miniclip has appointed Stefan Beurier as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. He joins from Ascential pl, where he had been EVP Group Finance.
